Dog Days: New Student Orientation is more than signing up for classes or a campus tour, it’s where new students begin their journey, find their community, and feel like they belong at Fresno State. What most people dont see is the incredible team of student leaders who make that experience unforgettable! 

Meet the Red Team! Our logistics heroes. From setting up check-in stations to coordinating logistics across campus, these seven dedicated students work tirelessly to make orientation seamless for thousands of incoming Bulldogs. Without them, Dog Days wouldn’t be possible. Each Red Team member requires approximately $1,200 in support to cover training, time, and supplies — a small investment that makes a big difference in the success of our newest students.

There’s also our Spanish Family Program, led by three amazing Program Assistants who connect with and guide families through orientation entirely in Spanish. They present, translate materials, and ensure that Spanish-speaking families feel informed, confident, and welcomed. To keep this program running and to expand to reach even more families, we need $2,000 per program assistant.
