Hello, my friends:
Thanks to all who have contributed to our annual grassroots fundraiser. We are grateful to all of you for your generosity. We hope you can ask a few family members and friends to join our effort. We would like to reach 200 donors by the end of the month.
Thanks so much. We have many events planned for our students, staff, faculty, and community to promote the Portuguese-American experience. Our first two books from Bruma Publications should be out in the next few months. We are also continuing with our oral history collection, our community of writers with Azorean Heritage the Cagaroo Colloquium, and are working on a media alliança to bridge the Portuguese media in the US and the Azorean Media, to serve our diaspora and to have a better awareness of the Portuguese-American experience in the Azores. We continuously update our PBBI book collection in the Fresno State library and offer different opportunities for our students and the community. We continue to archive our history and create our narrative.
Abaços and a million Thanks
