Fresno State students are working hard to excel in the classroom and their futures are very bright. However, food insecurity is a growing issue on college campuses and 43.7% of Fresno State students surveyed* experience food insecurity. Imagine not knowing where you next meal is coming from... this critical need makes it difficult for students to focus on their academic goals.

While the Student Cupboard was initially funded by the Fresno State Office of the President, today it is funded through community support.
