Help Central Valley students turn creativity into life-saving road-safety lessons. Every child deserves to know how to stay safe near roads, intersections, school buses, and school zones. Our Roads, Our Safety: Kids Art Challenge brings road-safety education to Central Valley elementary students through art. 

With your support, students will learn important traffic-safety concepts and express those lessons through original artwork that can be shared with classmates, families, and the broader community. This project combines creative learning with public safety. Students will explore age-appropriate topics such as walking near traffic, crossing streets safely, understanding school-zone behavior, and recognizing how drivers, pedestrians, bicyclists, and buses all share the road. National and state traffic-safety resources emphasize that child pedestrian and school-travel safety education is an important part of safer communities. 

Our goal is to raise $6,000 to launch a strong, high-quality program that reaches multiple classrooms and culminates in a public-facing showcase of student work. If we exceed our goal, we will expand the challenge to reach additional students and schools. When children create art about safety, they do more than make posters. They learn, remember, and share messages that can travel from the classroom to the car, the sidewalk, the crosswalk, and the home.
