Every Exam Passed Strengthens Central Valley Health
We’re raising funds to support 11 dedicated Fresno State Graduate Dietetic Interns as they prepare for the Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credentialing exam. The final step in becoming professionals who improve community health every day.
Your contribution directly supports:
- 11 exam prep software licenses ($180 per student, totaling $1,980)
- Study materials and guided review sessions to strengthen learning and boost confidence
Why It Matters:
Passing the RDN exam is essential for entering the workforce. Yet, in 2024, the national first-attempt pass rate was just 62%. Your support gives our students the resources and confidence they need to succeed.
About Our Program:
Fresno State’s Dietetic Internship prepares future dietitians to serve the Central Valley through culturally responsive, community-focused practice. Our interns complete over 1,000 hours of supervised experience in hospitals, schools, clinics, and government agencies.
Nearly three-quarters of our graduates remain in the Central Valley, helping address local nutrition and public health needs through programs like WIC, CalFresh, and clinical care.
