Support the Contemporary Dance Ensemble at Fresno State

The Contemporary Dance Ensemble at Fresno State is raising funds to attend the 2025 American College Dance Association (ACDA) Conference, hosted at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, from April 18–21. This event brings together hundreds of college dancers, choreographers, and educators from across the country to celebrate and deepen their shared commitment to the art of dance. Our goal is to raise enough money to transport 22 student dancers and one faculty member so every performer in our ensemble can represent Fresno State on this national stage.

For over 50 years, ACDA has been a home for college and university dance programs, a place where movement builds community, sparks creativity, and inspires change. Students at the conference take master classes and workshops with professional artists, attend concerts, and perform in adjudicated showcases reviewed by nationally recognized dance professionals. It’s an immersive experience that pushes their artistry and technical skill while connecting them to a diverse community of peers and mentors who are shaping the future of dance in higher education.

Attending ACDA is more than just a trip, it’s an investment in our students’ futures.
