Plant Science Soil Judging - National at North Carolina

Funds raised will help support the team’s travel, registration, and participation in the 25-26 National Soil Judging Competition.

The mission of the Fresno State Plant Science Soil Judging Team is to continue gaining soil knowledge both inside and outside the classroom by learning to identify, evaluate, classify, and describe soil profiles. We are also committed to promoting the impact of soil science and its role in the environment.

• Expand the knowledge of soils to students so they can be advocates for soil science in whatever field of interest they pursue.
• Send members to compete in regional and national soil collegiate competitions.
• Expose students to the different graduate programs and connect them with professors and industry.
