Fresno Family Counseling Center (FFCC) is a non-profit community counseling center operated by the students and faculty of Fresno State's Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling program. We serve individuals, couples, families, groups, and children/teens. Approximately two-thirds of our clients come from families at or below the federal poverty level. We are seeking funds to better train and equip our student therapists to provide play therapy to needy children in the Central Valley. You can support these students in their journey to uplift the communities they serve.
Your gift will help students learn how to provide a variety of play therapy models. Play therapy is useful in helping children with mental illnesses (like depression, anxiety, ADHD, and more), children who have trauma from abuse or neglect, and children whose family life may be chaotic. Your donation can make a difference to benefit the lives of these children.
You can be a change agent for Fresno Family Counseling Center as we seek to help the most vulnerable population in our communities. As a donor, your gift will allow us to bring in trainers for specific play therapy needs including Theraplay, play therapy via telehealth, and other family-based play therapy. Additionally, your donation will help FFCC buy needed play therapy materials, technology, and supplies to better serve the children of our Central Valley. Please give so that FFCC can provide better quality mental healthcare to underserved children. Thank you!
Your support will help us provide trainings for students about play therapy.
Your support will help us to equip a sand tray play therapy room with the toys, materials, and technology for monitoring equipment necessary for students to learn to do sand tray play therapy.
