Bulldogs of the last decade, we need your help - donate to Project HOPE to support our students!
Project HOPE is a program designed to make sure student's basic needs are met, giving them the best chance to achieve their goal of graduating from Fresno State. Our students are working to overcome tremendous obstacles, and as alumni, we can help provide them with the resources they need to ensure their academic success.
The Good Samaritan Fund (GSF) is one of the areas Project HOPE supports and is a great example of impacting students directly. Last year, GSF awarded over $190,000 to 131 students who faced hardships from the pandemic or were displaced during the creek fire, helping ease their financial burdens during a difficult time. In the spirit of Bulldogs caring for Bulldogs, the class of 2021 has stepped up in a big way!
The class of 2021 raised over $17,000 with the help of 699 student donors to support their fellow Bulldogs before becoming part of the alumni family. Because we are so inspired by their generosity, we invite you, our Bulldogs of the last decade (BOLD), to join them by donating to Project HOPE, a program dedicated to providing individualized support to students who are in crisis or experiencing challenges impacting their education.
Project HOPE uplifts our students with customized support through:
- Providing items necessary to sustain living: food, water, shelter, and clothing.
- Putting mental health first to offer students help and counseling.
- Offering emergency grant money to students who have nowhere else to turn.
Your investment directly helps students in need. Consider joining your fellow alumni by clicking on your class year and donating to this project. When we come together as Bulldogs, we make a positive impact in the lives of our students.
