The Lyles College of Engineering (LCOE) at Fresno State is asking for your help to support its students ability to attend and participate in national technical conferences like:
The Society of Asian Scientists & Engineers (SASE) National Conference and STEM Career Fair in Atlanta, Georgia on October 14-16, 2021
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) National Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 21-23, 2021
The Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) National Convention in Orlando, Florida on November 10-14, 2021
Many of you remember going to your first SASE, SWE or SHPE conference and being in awe of all the students, professionals and companies gathered to celebrate engineering! Many of you obtained your first internship or job from attending conferences like SASE, SWE and SHPE and know the critical role these conferences play in the professional development of Lyles College of Engineering students. These national technical conferences provide great opportunities for Lyles College of Engineering students to network with company representatives across all disciplines in engineering and construction management. Hundreds of companies recruit students for internship and entry-level job opportunities. LCOE students have opportunities to present research posters and research papers. LCOE students attend great workshops and participate in lectures led by worldwide leaders in the engineering industry. LCOE students also network with thousands of other engineering students from across the United States, share their experiences and learn from one another.
