Society of Automotive Engineers Baja Competition
We are Bulldog Racing, a student-run club that competes in the Baja SAE Competition. Every year we design, fabricate, and race a mini Baja vehicle in an off-road competition against other universities from around the world. This year we will be competing in the Spring of 2020 in Arizona. This competition exposes our students to design, manufacturing and business challenges that they will face as engineers in the real world.
This year we will be developing a new 4x4 driven vehicle. This is our team's first attempt at designing a 4x4 drive car. We anticipate many challenges this year new designing regards to maintaining desirable handling characteristics, efficient power out-put to the wheels, as well as keeping our costs low. These challenges present real-world experience and learning opportunities outside of the classroom.
By donating, you help provide us with the material, hardware, and tools to fabricate our car. Additionally, the money will be put towards new safety gear for the drivers and fabrication of the vehicle. With your help, we will be able to design a fast yet safe car for the 2019-2020 competition in Arizona.
