Your support each year has made March Match Up a success! Thank you.
As a caring community member and supporter, you are aware of the growing issue of food insecurity on college campuses and here, at Fresno State. Fresno State students are working hard to fulfill their dreams of a higher education, but, for some, making ends meet can be challenging. More than 40% of Fresno State students surveyed* have experienced some level of food insecurity in the past 12 months. Studies show that when a student is hungry, it is very difficult to think and retain what is being learned.
That is why the Fresno State Student Cupboard was established. It provides free food and hygiene products for students who are struggling. During the last academic year, 5,217 students visited the Cupboard totaling 47,829 visits. Thank you for your gift last year. During March Match Up, Moss Adams LLP, Granville Homes and an anonymous donor are matching $1 for $1 all gifts up to $100,000 through March 31. Your generosity will be doubled creating maximum impact for student success!
Together, let's fuel future leaders and make a difference in our students' lives. March Match Up is a full court press to break the cycle of food insecurity on campus.
